  1. Shekhar ji, I agree that the Modi government has built infrastructure at a higher pace than UPA and things are getting completed now. But Modi ji has been PM for 8 years now. Few points about the reasons for completion of these projects apart from Modi government push and Gadkari being an able minister - 1. Indian GDP started growing from 2000 but our mindsets have taken time to change. It cannot happen overnight. UPA2 cld have that chance but Financial crisis and then UPA2 incompetence has taken away that chance Modi ji became PM in 2014 and used that opportunity. 2. Indian middle class grew during 7-8% growth era. 3. Very few people will be willing to give toll to cross bridge or road in 2005 than 2015. This is the main reason behind this infrastructure growth. Obviously a minister like Gadkari helps in improving these things. 4. BJP has ruled both States and center for 5-6 years and they r able to combine the money, force, etc. 5. Strong government image helps. Even the Judiciary will be thinking 10 times before giving any judgement against the government. 6. Low oil prices for 4-5 years was a major reason for this development push. The Indian government has imposed so much taxes on petroleum and used that money.

  2.  @cool3884  First of all, I am not professional reporter. I am a common citizen. I can find fault. It is my right but here I am not finding fault but giving reasons why the Infrastructure building is better during Gadkari era.

  3.  @APK81  Wow.. I don't know why people see things so naively? Political will/might/thaught works if it is backed by economic might. It was Mumbai. It was rich before 2000 too. Money was not the problem for Mumbai. After 1991, all benefits have reached Mumbai first. The mindset of people changes in Mumbai, Gujrat first. Also der mindset is different from rest of India before 1991 also. Gadkari deserves credit for building that expressway. But if he was minister in UP or MP, he would not have been able to do that. That is also equally true.
