This is the problem with people like you. You guys don't read and comment. Read bro. First of all, the term is not derogatory. Second, it was coined by Raj Krishna, who was an economist on the right side. He coined that term as a cultural phenomenon to target the congress government - "Like Hindu culture, it has become an economic Hindu culture."

UPA faced the World economic crisis. Oil prices were at 135 dollar per barrel which is nearly 80-90 in 2022. Atal ji faced war with Pakistan. Every government faces something but only Modi supporters don't accept it. I don't know if they are Janata or Chamcha??? Like congressi chamcha don't hear anything against Rahul, Modi Bhakts/Chamcha, think that Modi ji has grown India with tremendous rate 😂😂😂 By the way what was the crisis before 2019? Why was the growth down then? Oil prices were low during that time too.

India import from china has crossed 100 billion dollar for the first time. I don't understand how China's export to India is not declined in the same era.🤔🤔 Babua, Look into data. Read bro. The term was coined by an economist of Right wing, Raj Krishna against Congress Governments. It was just to indicate that, like our Indian Hindu Culture, the economic growth of India has also become like a culture of 3.5% growth. Read before commenting.

Modi ji's win can be attributed to the media also. All TV channels are ignoring anything which is slightly against the Modi government and then there is Modi ji popularity with schemes targetting poors. And Finally, Middle class is full of hatred and voting for Modi ji, whatever may be the situation of inflation, jobs, etc. I am sure Shekhar ji, You would have never heard about people saying, "we will buy petrol at 200Rs, Der is no inflation, Inflation will always be der, Those who are not getting jobs are idiots/incapable, etc". It is not because they love Modi ji. It is only bcz they hate Muslims so much and become bigoted to that extent. I fear they have reached the place of no return from der bigotry and It will be bad for India and even Hindu Dharma in the long run.

Many Modi ji Fans/Supporters/etc comment that Rajan was a failed RBI governor. This is for them. Modi ji's best years of economic growth, low inflation was during Raghuram Rajan tenure. You can have your political differences, but at least Read before commenting. Please don't read from WhatsApp. He was RBI governor from Sep2013 to Sep 2016. A simple Google Search will give you answers.

@H J what!!! Trade is not more with China but Trade deficit is. Meaning it is one way traffic in China favoure. India exports to China is decreasing while the import is increasing more and more and hence the deficit is 100 billion dollars. Noone want to ban anything, expect Modi government. They ban things which doesn't suite them.

@sitarampradhan8488 Arrey Yaar. This is a globalised economy. Everyone will buy from everyone. India import from China is increasing and export is getting reduced. Trade deficit is bad for any country. Now if you(not literally)say that it is good because it is happening under Modi government then it is problematic. India was importing things which they needed. Now few things were removed from that list bcz India started producing that. A few things might have been added to that list. Now you are saying things which are being imported right now are necessary for country and those which are imported before 2014 was unnecessary? Wow. Regarding API import - India will be able to reduce only 25% of API Imports by 2024. So Modi government in 9 years are not able to do that, even after this hostile China which is sitting on our borders. UPA has done some good things, some bad things. Modi has done some good things and some bad things. Each government does that. Why people don't understand this. If you compare, overall GDP growth in UPA era is more than Modi era, even you remove covid yars. Yes inflation was high during the UPA last year and they lost the election. but for 2 years inflation of 6 -7% with low growth is killing India. UPA,NDA1(Atal ji) has way more employment rates than Modi era. That is another reason for the bad economic condition of India under the Modi government. At least Modi ji should have not allowed that import and should have done that in India in 9 years. Atleast Modi ji should become AATMNIRBHAR And should not blame Congress for everything.,😂😂

@glennex0077 To control inflation, it must be checked by increasing Repo Rate. That's what is being done today also. Check how he brings down inflation in his time. Rajan has not supported OPS. It is a political move by congress. Read first.

He joined RBI in September 2013 and the NPA problem started in 2015. Banks don't declare NPA in 1-2 years. It is done after 5 years. If he would have given loan then NPA should not have happened until 2018. Also, Nirav Modi fraud is Punjab National Bank fraud where he used the bank money and didn't pay it. It was different from Malya. By the way Malya, Nirav Modi, etc all fled India during the Modi era. Nirav accompanied Modi ji in foreign trip(mostly Devas) and then fled next week. And you think it is possible without the central government(Modi Ji) support?

By the way Mr Genius, Indian export to china has decreased in the same period. Congress has done everything wrong in 10 years and Modi has not been able to do anything in 9 years. He is still going back to Nehru, UPA, etc. In 9 years,India's trade deficit with china increased from 30 billion to 100 billion. "When will the Modi government and his Bhakts become AATMNIRBHAR?" 😂😂😂 Under modi ji Average growth is less than UPA, trade deficit is more with China, China is on border and still it was UPA which was not governing well. @jayarajnair 😂😂😂 For Any economy moderate inflation is good with high growth. If inflation is moderatly negative and growth is high then the economy will never contract. Check 2015 data.

@jayarajnair Modi best years was under Governorship of Rajan. From 2013 to 16 he was governor. During that time, inflation came down and became negative. Inflation becoming negative is not contraction.🤦 GDP growth was nearly 7-8%(6.46, 8, 8.2) during his time.

Notebandi was great for economy. 5 crore people are not sent back to poverty. Farmers income has doubled. Bullet train is running. Only 10% Indian earns 25+k rs. It is not true. In 2019,before covid Unemployment has not broken 42 years record. 5-6% growth rate and 5-6% Inflation is great for India. I have learned so much. Thank you for all the Knowledge. I am very grateful.

If you can remember, 2008 world economic crisis, whole world was tormented by that and India still grew nearly 3% that year. I have gine through few of your comments and came to know what you are. Is 2 crores jobs provided per year? Farmers income doubled? Bullet train is running? 5 trillion economy? Dollar at 83rs. Apart from Terrorism front and few good things done by Gadkari(who is actually demoted by Modi ji for doing good work 😂), this government is a complete failure(economy, employment, inflation). Yeah, giving free Rashan is an achievement then it is one more achievement. 👍

@jayarajnair Check the inflation during that time. From September 2013 to sep 2016. Inflation was negative. It was the best years of the Modi government. At least do a simple google search.

What was the growth rate during his tenure at RBI? What was the rate after 2017? I know you cannot understand complex things, but at least read simple GDP growth percentage. It is released by Modi Government. It was 7.41, 8.0 and 8.26 from 2014 to 2016. After that there is only decline. So read babua.

@pp_01123 I said this only about middle class. They are not voting our of love. Gadkari has done good work. We all know that. But I don't think middle class is voting bcz of that. It is just a face saving line from any middle class person. Again don't take me wrong. Gadkari has dine really great work and I wld be happy if people will vote on that basis. Truth is, they are not voting Modi ji for that. Poor are voting for Modi ji bcz of Free Welfare schemes. And it is good that they are voting for delivery. I don't agree with branding thing. Lets say, people will not know everything about foreign policy, economic policy, etc. But they know that petroleum prices are so high, they know LPG never cost them this much, they know der is very less job. They say we will vote for Modi ji even if the price is doubled. It is not love. It is hatred towards one community. If you ask any Modi Bhakt,he will tell you this in 2 minutes after making some random comments about GDP, roads, Foreign Policy and growth.
