It was a documentary about the Narendra Modi 2002 riots. So how is it threatening Indian Interest, security, etc? The FBI raided Biden house, Tony Blair was accused for blindly supporting USA in Iraq, USA national and everyone around the world were raising concerns, saying nasty things about Trump, etc. It has not threatened USA security?

@StuffPacket Are you seriously comparing legitimate concern of youngster who were preparing for army for 3 years and dy were denied opportunity to a documentary which is critical of a government which is not able to stop violence in its state? You guys will do anything to show your support for a government or leader. Even old Congress people have not done this much of Chamchagiri. 🤔 You are saying that India is so volatile that it cannot handle a bbc documentary? Or you are saying Indians are fool that they will burn ttains bcz BBC has said something about Modi and his government and his failure in saving Gujrati Hindus and Muslims? Or You are saying, noone can make videos critical of Modi? Or you are saying BJP supporters will burn trains in India, Bcz BBC has made a documentary which is critical of Modi? Bcz whoever has watched that video said that it is about Modi and his Government failure and its active role in the Gujarat riots. So if the BBC makes a video critical of Rajiv Gandhi and Congress government in 1984 anti sikh riots. Then it should be banned in India? Bcz as per you, Indians are fools and they will burn trains and buses by seeing the BBC documentary? Either You seriously lack common sense or you are a Sarkari Chamcha.

Why Modi ji banned the documentary? Indians can watch it and call it fake, propaganda. Indians are not fools. We can differentiate between propaganda and real things. Or Modi ji thinks Indian otherwise? Was he doing propaganda which Indians believed and he didn't want to take any risk? Just asking

@Laxmi Kanth Oh. So you think Common Indians are fools? They are electing the same government with a majority and they cannot differentiate between fake, propaganda and real? By the way, those IAS, Politicians, so called educated people,etc are the reason behind any Riots. Those who die, hindu or muslim, are poor, less privileged people. Some 500 Hindus and 1000+ muslims died in Gujarat. Modi has failed twice in 3 days. He was not able to save 50 Hindu Karsevak in Godhara and then nearly 2000 Hindu and Muslims from riots. So either he was behind those riots or he was a failed administrator to stop those. Court Verdicts are based on concrete facts and if der is even a small doubt, the court gives the benefit of doubts to the accused. Modi, or for that matter any politician, is not fool that he will sign documents to order for Riots. For Anti Sikh Riots, Kamalnath or few more congress leaders were not punished by courts. Ask those Sikhs, if they were involved in those riots or not? So as per you, der should not be any documentary about 1984 anti Sikh riots bcz people are fools?

@dkjb5756 yes it was banned by Indira Gandhi in 1970 for 2 years. RSS was also banned in India too. It doesn't mean that if any organisation was banned once, should always be banned. What is anti India about this BBC documentary? Showing that Modi ji might be the person behind the riots? Did they say anywhere in the documentary that India is a Shithole country, Indian kills der minority, they persecuted der minorities, etc. As per all non-government and BJP people, who have seen the documentary, it was very fair and covered all the aspects of riots. They even asked for Indian Government comments to put it in the documentary, which was denied by the Modi government. It is a piece of investigative journalism and it is not Anti India in any sense of imagination. Of course if you think Modi is India and India is Modi then obviously. And lets Indian see that documentary and decide if it is anti India. If it is anti India, we will ask for banning the BBC completely in India, and not a single documentary. India is not a fragile piece of chinese goods, whose reputation will be damaged by some Tom, Dik and Harry.
