Victor is badass... his drawings really bring everything to life. Im an artist myself and he blows my mind with his ability to listen to small details in a conversation then capture that scene on paper. I would love to have one of his artworks hanging in my home. Truly talented man ❤

You can really pick up Phil's Irish accent out of the English accents. My grandfather was from Ireland but died before I was born. He married a Cherokee woman and had 6 kids with her. My dad was the youngest son and shortly after he turned 15, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. My grandfather loved her so much and sold he's ww2 medals to pay for her pain medicine. My grandfather was in his mid 40s when she died. He never remarried or even dated anyone else. He lived for another 42 years without her. You have to remember he married a Cherokee woman in the 1920s. Some states still forbid any marriage between different races back then. They had to go to Kansas to get married but moved back to Oklahoma afterwards. She died before it was legal for them to be together in their home state. 😢 I am married to a man from south India. I hope to someday take him to their graves. Their courage to be together inspired me to love freely. Wow this was not what i was originally going to comment... 😅😅😅

@debbylou5729 what is your problem?

Everytime I see a TT with Robin Bush, I cant help but think he would be the result if Winston Churchill and Hermann Göring could make a baby.

I wish Time Team could use today's technology. Maybe we will see a new team form some day soon.

I forget about ads since I have premium. I don't have cable or satellite so paying $14 a month to download and have no ads is worth it. The best feature is being able to turn my screen off and sleep while listening to a video like this.

Poor Phil. You can tell his back his jacked up pretty bad. They say thats a sign of a good archeologist, but it makes me feel bad for him.

They can find tiny clay pot fragments from a thousand years ago but not a barber 💇

I like Tony and Francis. They both bring their own brand uniqueness and charm. My favourite episodes are the ones where they are both there.

1:01 that's why I love Francis 😂

@robertbowers9856 I read an account of a nun who was into some nasty stuff. Like no 2 stuff... 😬

It's 105f (40.5c) with a heat index of 117f (47.2c) in Louisiana today... the weather there looks like heaven to me.

Are we sure the old guy isn't just an elderly Joseph Gobbells ??

Anyone else get a kick out of the battle reenactments like this? I would love to watch it without the added music and sounds. Just a bunch of dudes standing around yelling and pretending to hit each other. 😂
2
As an American, I love when they go back to a time that used feet and inches aka imperial measurements. People give us crap for using it but its the Brits who started it. 😂 just a joke!
2
Come on... skinwalker ranch is history 😋

@KaylaNoelle1 you should see what they do to people in the Quran. 😒

Petra Dark sounds like a name from Harry Potter

1:45:15 If this series had come out in the last 2 years, people would be making a fuss about it. It says a lot about our society when genetic material / makeup is deemed disrespectful and sometimes outright wrong.

Every time I see Robin Bush, My first thought is Herman Goring. Then when he speaks, I think Winston Churchill. Like a perfect mixture of the two. Anyone else?
1
Damian Goodburn is a cool name.

2:09:17 "POSH: I AM PREGNANT" on the newspaper really takes me back.
1
How incredible is it to find viking artifacts just by planting a garden 😂
1
I love Mick but he is just negative at times and that things must go his way or he gets upset. Rip Mick
1
Is it just me or does robin look like a mixture of Winston Churchill and Herman Goring?

My friend became a friar about 15 years ago. Went from being homeless and overdosing on heroine to becoming a very humble and pious man. It still surprises me when I see him. Before he became a Franciscan friar, I thought they weren't around anymore. We're from Louisiana, USA and don't have anything like that around our area. So I never knew much about it outside films about the medieval that showed them.

@maniswolftoman why are you so angry and sad?

Can you give sources?

Then you can't fathom the length of time that's passed between its construction and modern times.

Tim is really handsome. 😊

That was the style back then.

I believe they use the teeth when it comes to older skeletons like these.

@stephenbiggins9114 A lot of the things said about Richard 3rd was propaganda.

@RobertJamesChinneryH dude... have you even heard of Syria or Yemen?

The music was way too high.

@s1nb4d59 History Hit bought the rights to these docs. In a sense they own them now. They advertise their products on this free platform, so that you will want to purchase their product. Then they choose the best time to "remind" you of that. The fact you're whining about the timing of the ad only reinforces why they choose to do it. So if you're so concerned with your immersion in a video, then I suggest you buy their product so you can enjoy without any distracting advertisements. ❤

@doesthisfacemakemelooklike535 dude you posted the same longass comments. Then say you can prove it, but I see no proof. I don't know who Cheley Hokanson is... is that you? Okay cool. I'm related to Robert the Bruce and Mary, Queen of Scots. Found that out through DNA test. Pretty cool huh?
1
@johnbrereton5229 yes that's their heritage but not their nationality. They were Scottish and Edward 1 was English. It's same as when Canadians and Americans say they are Irish, Scottish or German.
