  1. Bach was a natural musical genius. Beethoven had to work at it. Personally, I prefer Beethoven. There are natural born leaders and natural born followers, but that does not mean a leader can't learn to follow and a follower can't learn to lead. We are not static individuals.

  2. Here's the deal. People are somewhat self absorbed and spend more time worrying about what you think of them, than judging you. If you are ok with you, then that's one person who is ok with you, and if one person is ok with you, then there are surely other people who are ok with you. So it's really about being feeling secure in who you are. There will always be detractors. People who are your judges and critics, but if you are secure in who you are, then their opinions won't phase you. You are awesome in you own way and you have a fan club of people you haven't met yet.

  3. Relatively white person here. I don't find big black guys intimidating and I don't think you should be worried about this in a job interview. A lot of how someone is viewed depends on the context. If you were walking down the street at night in a hoodie with your hands in your pocket, yeah, you might be intimidating, but if you are sitting in front of me in a shirt and tie for a job interview, I don't think you would be.
