You don't go in front of a public audience and insult and accuse a world leader of crimes if you want to work with them. You remain respectful and polite in public in order to get them to drop their guard. You should study negotiating tactics and human psychology. Putin invaded during Biden's administration, and not during Trump's. That's an actual fact. Remember the China/US meeting in Alaska? Talk about embarrassing. Blinken couldn't kiss China's a** enough.
