@timothywalsh1001 No, but because there are no videos which show them being violent. Most of the people in jail for J6 are there simply because they walked into the Capitol or sat in some public servant's chair.

@blackkman1324 Sorry, but these videos were taken during the riot. The vast majority of the people were peaceful...all they did was follow the instructions of the police and then they were charged for it.

@richardhutchinson3103 Prosecution would depend on exactly what they did. If the police opened the doors and waved them in, then no, they shouldn't be prosecuted. If they went to restricted areas like personal offices, then they should be charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Only the violent people who weren't engaged in self defense should be criminally charged, I would say the vast majority of those charges should be 2nd and 3rd degree assault. Some of the cops should be charged with assault as well.

@kevinprouten5741 Doesn't matter, he was not violent. Guilt by association is not permitted in the US justice system. Each person should be charged individually for their specific actions.

@SteveRomigsongwriter I completely disagree. Actual facts are far more important than what you want to believe is the truth. The election was "stolen" through the leveraging of lawfare, censorship, and mail in ballots. The narrative that Trump supporters coordinated and attempted to overthrow the government has been thoroughly debunked. Another blatant lie parroted by the media is that Trump and his supporters demanded the election results be overturned. The "big lie" is the one promoted by the media. Too bad it wasn't a real insurrection. We have rogue government which is no longer representative of US citizens. It prioritizes globalism over nationalism.

@SteveRomigsongwriter I never said violence didn't occur. I said the the motives and the narratives (the stories behind the incident) are lies and misrepresentations of fact. For example, the claim that Josh Hawley was running away from the rioters...a claim which was supported using intentionally edited video meant to mislead the public. Another example is cutting out the "peacefully and patriotically" part of Donald Trump's speech during the J6 hearings.

@eleventy-seven I'm not sure what Tucker's dislike of Trump has to do with the facts. Tucker's opinion of Trump is not the same as video and autopsy reports.

@Falconworld771 I don't agree. The only people who died were Trump supporters. The Capitol Police are the ones who initiated the first act of violence when they fired flash bangs and rubber bullets into a peaceful crowd of protesters, which included children. Many more injuries, deaths, and exponentially more property damage were caused by the antifa/blm riots. I agree J6 was a riot, but obviously not an "insurrection."

@philfranklin8378 Exactly. If it were an actual insurrection, there would have been a few hundred thousand angry and armed citizens, and I doubt Congress would have been back in session a few hours later.
