The media have a vested interest in cultivating in-groups and out-groups, and one of the best ways to do this is to label the offending group as "the undesirables" This is very easily accomplished by calling MAGA a cult and by avoiding and distorting the legitimate reasons why half of the voters support his policy positions. I do not agree with Trump 100% of the time, and neither do any of the Trump voters I know, and this one simple fact destroys the cult allegation.
