1:04 I will be very happy with stopping and then reversing aging and just simply being able to treat and cure all the horrible diseases and with the law of accelerating returns have the cost of doing that drop precipitously over the next couple of decades! I'm 69 years of age so I guess I need to make it about another 10 years to like start to see a little bit of reversal and they maybe 10 years after that it will accelerate I'm pretty optimistic cuz I've actually in my mind prophesize this ever since the 1970s. I actually did think at the time way back in the 1970s that if we were to basically bring our birth rate down low enough well then they'll be a real strong incentive for society to reverse aging because that's actually the best way to stop population decline and even get it to grow again rather than trying to figure out how to get women to have more babies when they don't want to.

Here is a twist as far as quantum physics goes with the deterministic concept. Hugh Edward III came up with the many worlds interpretation quantum physics. Anytime there is a event where there is a how should I say a right turn or a left turn instead of there being either a right turn or a left turn the timeline splits off and you find yourself turning right and you also find yourself turning left it's just that one doppelganger in one timeline is turning right and then the other doppelganger and another one is turning left now that makes the deterministic model more unlikely in my opinion because of the fact that no matter which event actually occurs that is the one sense of self finds it in one reality while another sense of self is in a totally different reality but you don't know which is which you can only assume that you are the only sense of self that exists in any timeline but if the many worlds theory is correct well then a reality there is no way to determine anything from a deterministic standpoint because of the fact that you are always constantly branching off into parallel realities.

Speaking of Einstein I remember that he was very uncomfortable with certain aspects of quantum physics that is the randomness of it and he like to say "God doesn't play dice with the universe". There can be rules that determine how the universe operates but at the same time there can also be a random quality to it. It's looking more and more like the universe is based upon probability and that that means it's difficult to pin down an absolute determine outcome.

2:23:03 interesting question about if half the human race ended up dying on the way to the other side I'm thinking that those who actually state they would prefer to be among those who died and didn't make it to the other side it almost sounds like if those individuals would just simply preemptively go ahead and join that theoretical half that doesn't make it from the get-go that goes individuals might very well be the the ones who would be contributing to the conflict that creates all the problems being talked about. The short answer is the ones who would rather be on the side that don't make it should go ahead and just say they're done and then leave now because they might actually be the ones who contribute to the conflict that ends up resulting in half of us dying.
