  1. Well it did for the most part up until 1913. You had hiccups like the civil war, but overall it did for white citizens. Except for the Irish lol. Ok so for free white men of good character. That's STILL better than what other countries have done. The level of tyranny in times past was staggering. It's going back that direction now, but for a minute we were doing better, even if it was only for the white majority.
