  1. I'm in central Ohio, that's interesting. I think I live in an affluent bubble, where I live the way people act you would think the economy is just dandy. Remodeling their houses, you name it they are spending and it seems the higher prices for food and other things doesn't bother them. It is very affluent, but still, these people are spending like its going out of style. They all seem to have had a windfall or something, very odd. I make 6 figures, and I am just barely treading water. I have had to cut back on things significantly to save money and add to my investments for retirement. I'm on the low end of the totem pole in a suburb that has been at the top for a long time. But still it's not like everyone is a multi millionaire here, people who make my income or maybe 100k more don't seem to be feeling it. I know some of them have to be. But overall it feels like I live in a total bubble.

  3. People who make 500k+ per year haven't felt any pain yet. When those people feel pain, there will be a real demand for change.
