You mean the fed not the feds. The federal reserve was pulling it's shenanigans back then too, it was formed in 1913. They most certainly were doing that, JP Morgan was the one who organized everything, they deliberate caused the crash by issuing lots of credit then contracting it, getting all the banks to call in their loans due. This absolutely destroyed the economy, and people back then didn't know how bad they were getting intentionally screwed, they just thought it was unfortunate market forces. The average person was absolutely clueless about the crimes being perpetrated against them. They are doing the same thing now. Bankers are very boring and predictable lot, they only have about 3 techniques that they use, but people fall for them over and over again because they don't know what is going on. Both Andrew Jackson and Henry Ford said almost a century apart: "If the common people understood the monetary system, there would be a revolution before morning."
