  1. I'm looking to buy a new car. In spite of that, the economy feels like a hollow husk. It feels like something that looks intact superficially from the outside, but there is nothing inside to support the external structure. It feels like we are living a lie. Its like the rug is slowly, slowly being pulled out from under us but no one is noticing. People thinking things are ok because they are on the part of the rug that hasn't been pulled up yet.
