@Bucky1836 yeah, got it in 2006. He was a bit behind in the automotive end of it, we can do even more than he knew, but he was on the right track. I took his info and used it as a springboard, and have been building my engines to specifically take advantage of ethanol. I can't run pump gas in them, but I get excellent power and mileage from them running vodka.
The static compression ratios are too high for pump gas, but they use less fuel than the low compression engines I had in the same cars, that were the same size or smaller. With EFI and heating the fuel I get even better mileage, my '76 C10 will be the test mule for a modern engine running mostly factory EFI and parts, and those trucks aren't exactly aerodynamic, so if I can get good mileage from it, imagine what I can do with a smaller vehicle.. lol.
My still design has been improved too. Its kinda funny how some of my innovations are now common among home distillers.
Lots of people have bad info out there, and they are unaware of things you can do with engines running ethanol that make gasoline engines look pathetic.
