@samsungdelila5960 : not sure what you mean. Thre is no 6G chipset maker now and most of you don't have access to 6G prototypes by any vendors. The standard has not yet even been set.

This sounds very fishy -- the CCP is probably making stuff upm as they are typically known to do. There are usually two paths for PhDs from top-ranking programs, either academia or industry. Academia is somewhat political and limited, but if you are bright and know the right people, no problem. If that doesn't work out, you could always find employer willing to sponsor your stay either as H1B or EB2 for those with exceptional ability (ie, highly cited papers/books, inventions, etc). The tech industry was always short on talents until very recently this year (too many H1B's brough in from India during COVID). Instead this dude went to industry ... drum roll please ... in China. Either he was very lazy, or got kicked out for different reason.
