  1. The same people also say the Soviet aircraft designers copied the western designers. This is pure western arrogance. The Soviets and the Japanese are, and always have been, perfectly producing good aircraft. They've also produced some death traps but so has the west (Blackburn Botha). There are only a handful of solutions to the problems of aerodynamics.
