  1. The Soviets and the Poles were both flying forward swept wing aircraft in the 1930s. The Soviets had the BP-2 flying in 1934 and the BP-3 flying in 1934. I'm not sure when the PWs Z-1u, Z-8 and Z-47 first flew.
