  1. The only thing that changed is airpower, and this war again clearly shows that it is the key to modern army vs army warfare. Air superiority gives you the ability to completely circumvent traditional warfare, which is still as deadly and grinding as ever. If ukraine was given proper air capability and long range strike capability to push russian SAM out of range of the battlefield, this war would be over in a heartbeat. Air superiority allow recon and precission strikes on everything that keeps an army going, depleating it's ability to resist in no time. Glad that we have put priority on our airforces. With a strong and capable airforce the ground troops basicly have mop up duty.

  3. All russia still is able to do is level urban areas with artillery and send waves of men to try and claim the rubble as their own. Anything else is impossible for them. Haven't seen them break defences efficiently for almost a year. And when they try it's a desaster with masive losses. So now they are going to level another city i guess. It's trully shameful a "worldpower" army has to lower themselves to this. Weaklings who rather see the destruction of what they love then admit failure or defeat.

  6. Thus, they have to little newer equipment to use. It's like saying ukraine has the largest tank force in the world cause their territory is littered with litterally thousands of them. They clearly need so much work and resources to get going again that they rather waste it on old equipment. If a factory can only refurbish a handful of new tanks every month that newer equipment is pretty useless for russia
