Contrary to what most assume, groups such as the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists are not Christians, for the reasons you mentioned; wrong gospel, wrong doctrines, prophets, teachings that stray from foundational Christian beliefs... Even the wrong Jesus. People should be aware that Titus is a former Seventh Day Adventist and he still promotes the same doctrines.

@simplyawesome246 Peter is an unbeliever so he wouldn't have any reason to "push back". False doctrines bother true believers on the other hand. Why? Some false doctrines are damnable heresies. Beliefs that can literally send people to hell.

Anyone who is trusting in their own self righteousness and good works will find out that these cannot save them on judgment day. @Lastochkad Cults change who Jesus is. For example the Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists believe that Jesus is Michael the Archangel, which is false. Therefore they have a false Jesus. The Bible warns of people that preach "another Jesus". 2 Corinthians 11:4 KJV [4]For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

@MsQ275 Look at how many likes you have gotten. There are brothers and sisters in Christ who understand what you are saying. I pray that people will come to a knowledge of the truth for the sake of their eternal souls.

@Rufio1975 To you they may all be the same but believers know that there is only one truth. Not many truths. God will show people the truth when they seek it. Satan has many flavors of falsehood to trip people up. @Yoshi_Boii The Bible warns of fake Christians (false brethren), false Christs and false prophets. Don't be deceived into thinking that everyone who hides under the moniker of "Christian" is genuine. Indeed there are many that are not real Christians but professing Christians ones only. 2 Corinthians 11:14 KJV - And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Matthew 24:24 KJV - For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

@werewolfmedialv It's interesting that you said devil's advocate because Satan himself can transform into an angel of light, appearing marvelous. Please be aware that many that say that they are "Christians", are not true Christians. The people you felt didn't behave properly as professing Christians may not even be Christians at all. And the nicest, sweetest person you ever met, may not be a Christian either. God looks upon the heart, where our true beliefs lie. It's all about whether or not someone truly knows and loves the Lord Jesus Christ. Often a real Christian is not going to win a popularity contest but rather will be hated for their faith, no matter how nice they are. 2 Corinthians 11:13-14 KJV 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. @TheMadHatter140 The Ready to Harvest channel examines many different denominations in a balanced fashion. People should examine all of them. They will realize something important. There is only one truth and lots of the groups add their own ideas.

@deborahdean8867 Just compare these groups and see how vastly different they are and how they stray from foundational Christian beliefs. If you are SDA, I just pray that you know the real gospel and are indeed saved. That is the most important thing.

@werewolfmedialv Unfortunately there are many people that are doing works today that will be going to a very unpleasant place, to put it gently. God says that He doesn't even know some of those people. The most important thing is that someone is born again and going to be with the Lord forever. That is the first order of business. Not impressing people with good works according to extra-biblical books and prophets. My biggest concern is the eternal destination of the many lost souls. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
