  1. The strongest unions are unaffiliated local unions not imprisoned to an "International" and it's per Capita tax, which pays for the lavish union boss contracts.

  3.  @brettmaki9995  It makes them weak. Local unions bargain on their own. There is no need to pay an International for doing no work. It's a racket the members can do without.
