@cammybaby01 The Constitution gives the President all the power of the Executive Branch. Therefore, no other "law" limits that authority. The President is the elected head of the Executive Branch. Therefore, he has the final authority, power and discretion to declassify. These things are not hard to understand. Again, you are making the childish argument that the elected President, with all the Constitutional authority, has to "inform" unelected subordinate bureaucrats. Again, think it through. You are claiming that every time the President shares secrets with foreign leaders, or with politicians, or with staff, or with military officials, etc. he has to sign off and call the librarian. He would be doing that ten thousand times a year. Do you understand the idiocy of what you are claiming? Or is the TDS too deep?
PS Pence had classified documents that he had no legal authority to have. He broke the law. They let him skate.
