@Gumpmachine1 if New Zealand had the same death rate as the US we would suffered over 15,000 dead to claim all those people are dying now anyway is laughable.

@shanecollie5177 no it doesn't it protects workers from getting screwed over when workers can negotiate as a group they're strong when they individuals they're in a weaker position and that's exactly how National and ACT want it. That was the same reason national brought in the employment contracts act in 1991 it was to screw over workers. I remember Bill English on TV saying New Zealand was a low wage economy like it was a good thing. Australia never tried to screw over their workers and they're in a far better position than New Zealand and that's why so many New Zealanders move over there.

It's the present government that's saying they're going to fire thousands of people to save money then they get a pay rise. It's just wrong.

The only thing this government is going to deliver on is taking care of the top 10% of society like every National government. Immigrants are going to continue to pour in the shortage of housing will remain resulting in increased house prices and rents. Beneficiaries will be relentlessly targeted used as scapegoats for all the countries ills when these people have no economic or political power resulting in having no say over what happens in the country. Luxon is good friends with John key and what the country is going to get is John key 2.0

Yeah our countries on the line that's why they got rid of the fair pay act which will affect the poorest workers. They're bringing back the ability for landlords to kick people out with 90 days notice with no reason given. Poor people are in for hell under this foul government
