  2. Thats propaganda, official sources show slave numbers being trafficked by the Spanish. Also, slavery was banned in England with the Domesday book in 1086. The practical effects were that there were no slaves in England after the 13th century. The difference the Brits made was monumental - that Britain abolished it internationally which Took over 100 years.

  3. its more concerning...All these countries had industry forced on them, before their cultures were ready. EG: UK gradually became ready for urban life, meaning family structre was ready to accomidate enough children from generation to generation.
