  3. I interviewed once for this job and the questions were so difficult. I did really good. I was even told one network question, they never had anyone answer correctly. Final interview was coding, mind you I did NOT prep for this interview at all. I hadn't interviewed in about 10 years, so was winging it. Last problem was, what I realized now, a tree problem. I came up with a solution, and we were just optimizing with each iteration. We ran out of time. I ultimately got the job with the pay I requested, but a lower position. The job was a billion times easier than my previous job. I laughed. Money was much better, so less stress, but it was just so hilarious how difficult the interviews were compared to the job

  5. I was a soldier for the us army and was part of the illegal invasion of Iraq. I learned a lot about Arabs in that time. Learned how loving and peaceful the non extremists were. I was so shocked. When I returned my father, for some bizarre reason, scheduled me to speak at some church about my time there. I was just told to speak about my experience and so I told the truth. I told them about the civilians living there and how loving and caring they were and in fact was shocked at how devoted to their religion they were. They would pray daily and always prayed for us soldiers too. We would joke with them too, but they never backed down or said anything racist. The moment I said that many Christians in America could learn so much about them about doing the right thing and about how religious they were is when I was asked to stop talking. Actually there were members who started to leave. my father and I got into an argument about it after. I defended my position because I spoke the truth and just couldn’t understand why he wanted me to leave that info out. He knew I wasn’t lying, but he thought it was wrong to talk about Muslims in that speech that I was told to tell of my experience in Iraq. I’ll never forget that time. Beyond the good civilians that we encountered we also did encountered bad actors. I can’t say that I blame them. We illegally invaded and there were war crimes being committed all over the country. It’s either let it happen or join the rebels. I think Al Qaida and later Isis was horrific, but we made them stronger. Shame on us for going in for the oil and to cover up our sending chemical weapons to Iraq in the 80s. Those are at least the 2 reasons I’m aware of why we invaded. There could be even more evil reasons too

I searched for something along the lines of the title of this video and nobody has talked about this that I could find at least on YouTube. I did see 1 commenter on some video talk about the price of the iron dome vs what Hamas' cost of firing a rocket. I was floored as I knew the iron dome was expensive, but didn't know Hamas was literally doing what the Iraqis did when the US invaded, just DIY stuff.

His tactics (that involve a lot of math) are still studied by the us field artillery school. Hitler dropped out of school and when he was rejected from art school they told him he had enough talent to be an architect. We were cross attached to a Calvary unit (2ACR) and that's what they call it and so we would use this terminology in our TF. And the BNs were called squadrons. It was really interesting. In fact our AFATDS even had this language when you would create the units in the software. If you designate Calvary, it would use the appropriate terms. Fascinating stuff actually.

But I’ve heard lots of good things from other fellow soldiers. I know the m1 is the shit. In Iraq, the sound of the m1 turbine engine was an instant stress relieve for any soldier outside the wire. I also did a lot of training with my TF and so I know m1s are really good. we even had older ones because we were part of USAEUR. I believe the Ukrainians are getting the same models too. I’ve heard great things about the newer m1s, but don’t know much about it. The tankers had this video of all of the tanks in the world that they shared with us. It was hilarious because we would just mock every MBT out there. This has been my position for over 20 years. I know the German tanks aren’t so great. I’ve never thought for a moment that they were. Germanys military has been underfunded for decades. If you watch the news, you would know that from just last year or even when Trump called them out a few years ago. I knew this from my time in. I met a German soldier and he explained to me how badly paid they were. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that their military budget isn’t like ours. So keep telling me your assumptions and I’ll refute them every time.

So the question is, are these problems finally solved? If not, Russia is gonna have problems. I didn't follow any of the campaigns in Syria from Russia, so I have no idea if this is true anymore. I was contacted by a google recruiter on LinkedIn. She said she was impressed with my work history and I said I wanted to prep for a few months and she contacted me 2 months later instead of the 3 that I originally said I wanted to prep (a colleague of mine suggested 3 months). But actually it turned out that I only really needed maybe 1 or 2 weeks to prep. I setup the technical interview and later the virtual on site interview with ease. Maybe my experience was better because I had 10+ years of experience. It's rare for me to meet a recruiter that blows me off.   549. If you call your bank on your debit card (I’m not sure about CC that isn’t a debit but maybe the same applies) you just tell them to add xyz bank to a blacklist. I believe my bank allows me to do this via their app and their website too. You might be able to do that on CC website/app too but it may be the case where some let you do this and others not. Another option is to turn off your card and only turn it on when you’re going to charge something. This is a feature that’s been on most banks for years now for debit and CC. Some bad advice here is about your credit score. For you it may be nothing, but most jobs when they do background checks will do a credit check too. Especially if you’re applying for a job that is SOC certified. My last 2 jobs did this. I have good credit and I’m a software engineer so, no it’s not just for financial jobs.   555. I was stationed in Germany for a few years. Their laws in terms of protecting their citizens are nice, but the Polizei still has a lot of Gestapo authority. It was wild when we learned these things when we first got to the country what they can arrest you for. They can fine you, arrest you for looking at them funny or waving your hand in specific motions. They can rip out your radio if they don't like the music or the volume. I never saw it happen, but the fact that they can do this was always freaky for me. If you refuse a breathalyzer test they have authority to just cut you in any physical way they desire to get blood for the test. It was insane, we learned all of this during our in processing so barely a month in country. There's more, just those always stood out for me.

The biggest issue I had was when the NSA PRISM program was revealed, and how there were exploits on ads because ads were using un encrypted HTTP in games in social media and websites. It just blew my mind. I did a paper on it how careless the government was and the cost to the consumer by identity theft. I got an A+ on it, but that changed me in a big way. I was always security conscience after leaving the army and growing up with an old dad who was very cautious. I always use ad blocks and pay for streaming with no ads. I don't ever want to take another chance with that whenever I can. That is the biggest problem we have because it's not about them collecting the data, but how secure they have it. Like why have it all in one place? It's cheaper to deal with instead of spreading it out. Both the government and these big tech companies only care about themselves and that's an issue. I don't use a lot of social media any more. Yt is basically it for me, but I know a lot of people who are literally plugged in 😹😹😹 harder for them. I love ads for, eBay and Amazon because they are targeted, but I don't like apps and websites who aren't built with ads in mind and just inject them. Sure security is much better now, but nothing is 100% secure, at the end of the day it's all just 1s and 0s. I don’t want anything from the government because I dealt with it in the army for 6 years. For me it’s always been private insurance and never had issues. I’ve been healthy. Just recently had issues with Aetna. So I can corroborate. My mother has had blue cross and she has arthritis osteoporosis and doesn’t have issues with all the surgeries she’s had. She knows the system better than me though for obvious reasons. But going back to the VA. All of my buddies from the service have told me so many horror stories about the VA. I’m not talking about vets who just go in for basic checkups. Talking about buddies who were medically discharged, waited 10+ years before getting surgeries. Some buddies had issues from war that just came up after getting out. I mean the tolls of wars don’t show up as you leave, they’re just hidden in your brain. If that source comes from ex commission officers, I would believe that. They literally are treated like kings compared to enlisted. So that report would be pretty biased. Trump was actually the first president to come up with some what of a solution in his first term to deal with vets having to wait years like my buddies. The system is really messed up, but if you’ve never worked for the government or gotten care from them, you should be grateful. It’s better than nothing for sure, but it isn’t all what people think. I mean even in the service you sometimes have to be put on these waiting lists for years. Unless you get hurt in combat. The government is just so are up. The private sector just needs to be fixed. Add more regulation on them. I know it’s not that easy, but I’m leaning towards that direction.
