The essence of the so-called "hatred of Russia" that so many Russians already believe in by now is in fact just that: sadness for Russia, seen sinking into the darkness of a xenophobic mental prison like so many other countries in the past, and from which it took centuries or the shock of extremely violent wars to recover (otherwise people don't ask questions and continue to accept what destroys them), and a real hatred not against Russia but against the few Russians who organize this for their personal benefit and to compensate for their fragile wounded egos ("We had no choice but to attack", "They forced us to do this" executioner-victim speech, claims of immense power without responsibility, etc...). Again, this has nothing to do with Russian identity, and everything to do with a very well know psychological and social phenomenon (not to say illness) that the history of our species has made infamous since ancient times. To see Ukrainians hate all Russians after being attacked hurts too. It's just like when idiots hated germans for being germans rather than being nazis. It is not an identity that makes enemies, but a behavior. Too many daydreamers under hypnosis deserve an urgent wake up call and a little excursion out of their holes and beaten tracks.
