@markmadlock8185 There are numerous countries that allow their citizens to hold dual citizenship, with that I have no particular issue, however like you I believe that the line should be drawn when a person is applying to hold a position as in elected office. Most states require an elected official to divest themselves of any compromising allegiance that could affect their performance in office, and expose them to corrupting influence, political alliance should also be included

Sharia is simply a moral code that is adhered to by some and not others in much the same way as Halacha or Christian Canon.

@saadrizvi6630 Thank you for reminding me, yes he was one of the greatest literary minds to come out of Germany, historically Islam can claim some of the greatest acclaimed scholars in recorded history, certainly a great contrast with what America is currently!! spewing forth.

@pjsher2717 Not actually relevant to the US Constitution is it, Christan nations have been, in the past centuries responsible for some of the greatest disasters, slaughters and the loss of innocent lives in the history of the world, let me remind you that the past two world wars and numerous wars since have come about as a result of nationalistic policies adopted and implemented by the so-called Christian world. One of the reasons that the US Constitution is religion-neutral is because Christianity has such a foul record on human rights and decency extended to our fellowman.
