@SeaJay_Oceans Its called a paradox, vaccines are never 100% effective, they provide a degree of protection so a percentage of those vaccinated will still get sick and possibly die, the polio vaccine is considered the most effective but even that does not give 100% protection, so despite more people getting vaccinated, the percentage getting sick, while remaining the same translates into a greater number of people getting sick and possible death in the vaccinated population, while the percentage remains the same but the actual numbers increase 1% of 100 is 1, 1% of 400 is 4, 1% of 800 is 8 and so on, so the more people who get vaccinated the greater the number in that vaccinated segment of the population will possibly get sick and die, while the percentage remains constant.
