Vaccination does not mean you cannot get infected, vaccination means your body is pre prepared and armed to fight the infection this will usually result in a milder form of the disease with milder symptoms and outcomes.

@olbeef250 Again you conflate possibility with an actual event, just because something is possible you cannot assume something else happened, it's up to you to make the connection between events. If your theory were applicable then by Dr Ebright's assertion could equally apply to the US labs, which is what the Chinese assert happened, that is the leak was from a US Lab, circumstance is not proof of something actually happening. you will need to do a lot better than just quote other people assertions as evidence. as⋅ser⋅tion /əsɜ:ʃən/ noun a declaration that is made emphatically (as if no supporting evidence were necessary) You seem to think that if you make enough assertions in the absence of evidence, then that will translate into proof, this is the delusional thinking, that has invaded the simple minds of the anti-Chinese protagonists in this debate.

@olbeef250 It is not about providing proof that something didn't happen, it is about the accusers providing evidence to support their claims, the concept of innocent until proven guilty applies, the court of public opinion needs to prove its claims, if you believe that the virus was leaked due to security issues at Wuhan then the onus is on you to provide the evidence that supports your claim. There is no evidence to support the Wuhan leak theory, the claim is nothing more than a straw-man argument rooted in politics. So unless you can come up with the evidence, and it is obvious you cant. I intend to go back to watching the Rolling Stone concert HAVANA MOON performed in Cuba a year or two back.

@olbeef250 An interesting fact you might like to consider: Following the cease and desist order from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in which the USAMRIID laboratory at the Fort Detrick base was shut down in August of 2019 for at least two "breaches of containment", the announcement to resume operations on a "limited scale" was made on November 25, 2019. The two breaches reported to the CDC by USAMRIID staff demonstrated failures of biosafety level 3 and 4 protocols in the Army laboratory to "implement and maintain containment procedures sufficient to contain select agents or toxins". The US has demonstrated its failure in the past to maintain strict containment protocols. coincidence?

@radiopete7290 An Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) is a mechanism to facilitate the availability and use of medical countermeasures, including vaccines, during public health emergencies, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic. It is clear that with the outbreak of the Delta strain the current crop of vaccines is and will g save many lives, who may well have die if no vaccine was available. btw: it is perfectly clear from your comment that you have nothing going on between your ears.

@SeaJay_Oceans Its called a paradox, vaccines are never 100% effective, they provide a degree of protection so a percentage of those vaccinated will still get sick and possibly die, the polio vaccine is considered the most effective but even that does not give 100% protection, so despite more people getting vaccinated, the percentage getting sick, while remaining the same translates into a greater number of people getting sick and possible death in the vaccinated population, while the percentage remains the same but the actual numbers increase 1% of 100 is 1, 1% of 400 is 4, 1% of 800 is 8 and so on, so the more people who get vaccinated the greater the number in that vaccinated segment of the population will possibly get sick and die, while the percentage remains constant.
