Navalny's ties to Western intelligence agencies, particularly the CIA, led to him being viewed as a controlled asset rather than a genuine opposition political figure in Russia. His actions, including attempts to disrupt Russian elections, were seen as part of a larger US agenda to destabilise the country. Danny Haiphong has a Scott Ritter video on his youtube channel titled Scott Ritter: "The TRUTH is Out on Alexei Navalny and Putin"which is informative and worth looking at, if you watch that you will surely become somewhat less ignorant about the subject.
