I remember the 1986 scandal of Litton defrauding our govt. out of $6.3 million in defense contracts overcharges -- $37 screws, a $7622 coffee maker, $640 toilet seats, etc. You can indeed pay $7,000 for a coffee machine today, but not in 1986, and even titanium screws don't cost $37. *********Question: Given Russia's complete indifference to its own soldiers, what do they trade Ukranian prisoners for? I'm a bit surprised they don't shoot them all rather than feeding them, meager as that is. Or maybe they hope to get intel from them? Glad that man is home and eating an apple.
