  2.  @escalatedpumpkin  The difference is, in the West if you look hard enough you can actually search for truth and tell it to your friends. People can be convinced of the truth. In China if you try to convince someone of the truth too much, a bunch of police will be visiting your house once a week. I've lost dear girlfriends from China because I questioned the CCP to them and they simply were offended or were uncomfortable to chat about it and eventually it blew up the relationship.
