  1. I attempted to use my debit card, and master card pop up a nanny state warning and refused to allow me to authorize the purchase. I take it, that was a stripe debacle. Over the COVID lock down, I heard that over stripe had frozen or canceled the accounts of conservatives so I am quite leery of them. PayPal triggered my sensibilities years earlier when I watched a video by a UK resident that had her account frozen for a month or two and nearly ended up becoming homeless. At the time, many PayPal stories like that were going around. These companies are payment processors. In the US, they should not have the ability to simply shut down a person's account without due process. And if they do shutdown an account, they must still be required by law to transfer the money in the account, to the account holder without any delay. No one should be able to cancel a person's on line business with an accusation of "hate speech" Not only is it morally wrong, it not American.
