22:55 incels are not a political movement and it's not centered around ''not getting laid'' the word Incel even stands for ''involuntary celibate'' meaning these are most often if not exclusively men, probably in their 18-30's and have had little to no positive feedback from both romantic but also friendship based relationships, from talking to some of them, most seem to come from broken homes, mostly raised by their mothers who were overprotective of them and did not prepare them for the world and how to improve themselves to gain potential mates or they have certain disabilities like autism or unattractive traits that they can't change or accept of themselves which in a world like this one that constantly demands perfection and competition while offering no clear way or comfort to actually reach anything close to that ideal. Incels are societies lost generation, forgotten, hated and despised, all they realy have is resentment and suffering without something like Christianity, familly or romance to guide them, if any incels or doomers reads this, the most important trait you should focus on is self improvement, not compare yourself to others and find some form of religion or ideology that gives you a strong sense of meaning in this world and view suffering as a test to overcome, it won't solve everything but at least you might get a better future.

I won't deny that things like our governments and the EU have been overregulating things but we are still making and producing things but our populations or graying while other upcoming economies have gotten most of our former industries, same with the USA and the USA is not even that pro capitalism anymore compared to some nations within Europe but it just has such immense land, resources and people that also draws on other nations talents means it can still grow much larger while Europe is mostly already densely populated and due to early industrilization are already ahead where most modern economies are heading towards, including the USA, nations like south korea, japan and China are somewhat ahead of us on that front as well.

30:25 this kinda sounds horrific because it sounds like it could easily morph into chinese style social credit system in which people's online behavior, view patterns, ideology and close friends could be used to block, alter or unrecommend people based on government policies or regulations, if big tech today can abuse most of it's userbase and ban the president from speaking online what do you think they can manipulate and erase when everyone is depending on an app for the means to gain some form of wealth?

if im honest, I truly think if society was more free and people were allowed to express themselves without constant risk of it backfiring on them through the media, the government, society or big tech then it would quickly evolve into a new structured ideology of both extreme left and extreme right views and seek to controle and purge others who would seek to undermine and attack them, you could see a french revolution style where fed up people commit acts or terrorism or arm themselves to drive out the wealth and snobbish elite while also engaging in meritocratic discrimination, more wellfare spending and xenophobia. most people would call it fascism but I don't think that's accurate, fascism and communism was a reaction to the failed policies of liberal democracy but can't be repeated exactly, the reaction to this era of liberal failed policies will manifest itself differently and will draw different conclusions to how to solve it, I'm not sure if there will be a religeus element to it, since religion is on a downward spiral but it might replace religion with a mix between volkish, agnostic and pop cultural symbolism.

@shorewall yeah that's somewhat true but if policy can give decline to birthrates then why can't police raise birthrates? looking at the costs of living, food, energy prices, housing prices and competition for jobs while wages are declining then starting a family might look like a bad idea. it's like with animals if there are no resources to suppor them, they refuse to reproduce, perhaps many young people have experienced society as being unable to support them, while many people who have large families, seem to rely on both the state, their family members and the church/mosque for support while the natives get little to nothing and a more hostile additude thrown at them from the top and society at large. I would say a combination of deregulations in key industries (like housing market), family support government spending, tax cuts for the lower classes and cutting off social programs that promote ''western values'' might be the best way forward, we spend so much money on so much useless crap and should realy cut some people loose, become more pragmatic and meritocratic based while supporting our own communities first.

17:00 yeah it's bizzar, an event of mass hysteria, governments and media fear propaganda and rights being stripped down while most people seem to either go along with it or blindly trust and believe what the ''experts'' say even if what they are saying makes no sense and others point out their clear political agenda's for doing so. it feels completly fabricated almost by the elites and people are just such easy to controle sheeps that they will go along with it to ''save grandma'' even though they will in the process take the food out of their children's mouths and cause a lot more suffering and death in the long term, it's just bizzar.

perhaps 15 years ago i might have agreed with this statement but having seen the devolution of most atheists channels and people in that community, I've seen far more deeper and wiser introspection within christianity or even islam compared to these groups and recall how in the 20th century the structure of religion was pretty much abolished in full throught the hardships and suffering in ww1 that led to the bloodiest wars in human history. the modern scientific method is a scientific tool which was codified around the 17th and 18th century in the Enlightenment but that very idea of finding the truth or it even having meaning comes from christianity and the idea that god created the world and humans should study it. some of the fathers of secularism and thinkers like Spinoza reflected on the concept of religion, the founding fathers of the USA which made a secular government with no state religion were still christians and this looking for truth, individualism and secular values has only come from the west while most of the rest of the world did not find it on their own, even with religions thousands of times older than christianity, even with some religions and ideologies being based on rationalism and with no divine being to speak of. you could argue that the west is special due to find america and developing different from most of the world as a result and that religions like christianity just were around when it happened but that would not explain why the church remained so powerfull and was so involved within this development when other religions and new ones were being formed to compete against it that all have failed for the most part.

@samwolfenstein5239 I believe alt-hist made a video on that subject and argues they did not innovated much due to some of their philosophies which clashes with scientific and technological development. Astronomy is mostly the study of the stars and cosmos and giving certain meanings or measurements of the world but it's not realy very scientific, the mayans were very good in astronomy but their society still mostly collapsed before the Europeans found it. The closest I can think of is roman paganisme that adopted other cultural and technological traits into their militaries and invented a few usefull domestic tools but for most it's history it started to stagnate and did not evolve what they had but simply maintained what was usefull while only adopting when their tools failed to perform, going from hastari, triari army structure to the iconic legionair, to then become frumantari and adopting things like horse archers but not much technological innovation.

17:35 I fully agree with this, I would say Communism is more of a religion than an economic or ideological movement, the scripts communists use is completly predictable, based on faith and make belief and constant blaming of ''sins'' when things always fall apart on tiny or unreal things like ''the CIA did it!'' ''not real communism!'' ''it was actually great but was destroyed by evil capitalists'' meanwhile they will make excusses and ignore some of the worst crimes done by humanity, while citizens in communist nations try to flee the country to the west and don't care about the immense pile of bodies that would fill at least 2 ww2 total deaths with easy. it's the most fundamentalist, envy driven, immoral and insane relligion out there, not even islam or it's extremist sects come close to the level of faith and worship of death that revolves around this religion.

I don't think beauty realy effects crime rates, immigration and assimulation policies much more i would say, something can look beautifull but to an outsider it might look like an alien symbol that does not represent them and thus they hate it, to find beauty is to find a piece of an idealized self image. I've heard some muslims feel great beauty in words of the Koran but most christians see it in the shining windows of a great big church and atheists in science, volkish + blood and soil people find it in nature.

@SilvesterBathroomStallone that's pretty interesting because from what I've seen that type of behavior is most common with people either suffering from depression, autism, lacking social skills and attractiveness. The acting out towards woman, feeling resentfull, anger at both their rejection from woman and experiences of societal gender rolls, the ironic thing is these types of behaviors are extremely common in feminist movements, black activist groups, fundamentalist islamic groups, certain types of men going their own way type of behavior. But it's realy only incels that get hated on freely, so it becomes a self premoting cycle, person gets rejected by woman (not just once, constantly) abandoned by society, told to man up, unable to do so either at school, personal life, family, media, becomes resentfull, needs to express that resentment and despise woman for their privilaged roll in western society, finds other men who experienced the same thing, fuel eachothers resentment and frustration as a means of finding some form of community and attention, society reacts to their existence and community, labels them hatefull, spitefull, losers and what not, gets more resentment and repeat. Now I understand that for these people to change they need to both change their outlook but also find some path of redemption and frankly non exist in society, the churches are empty, family structures have collapsed, the media is a shitshow, governments are abusive and stupid, western society is dominated by feminist movements that actually want more wealth and privilages towards woman (you got a woman quota for top end jobs in the Netherlands forced through by the government for example) with ironically less responsability for either their potential husbands, children and society. It's all just such a mess right now and it's also worrysome because these types of men and this type of society is ripe for political, ideological or religeus extremism. To me incels are just another symptom of a deranged and disfunctional society and I pitty them.

@shorewall I don't think it's even about having access to woman's bodies, if it was just that there is such a thing called a hooker, it honestly looks more like they want love and affection more than anything, talking to some of them they almost always came from broken homes, parents probably divourced, no father figure to teach them how to be attractive towards woman, mother might give bad advice like "just be yourself" what that means is "be on the attractiveness level that you are now, don't artifically improve your chances" which will almost always result in rejection or mild succes. Porn is indeed very bad but not just for men, also woman since they are very social and often feel insecure they copy those traits as well to compensate or to feel more attractive which might also be a reason for incels to despise woman. Getting a realistic outlook on relationships and not be resentfull towards the ideal or imagined picture planted in people's heads via media consumption is quite difficult, the road to resentment is paved with the stones of false promises.
