  1. Armalite came out of Fairchild (aviation company) who definitely did use Mattel for various grip like parts of aircraft controls. It stands pretty easy to reason that they (armalite) would continue to use their molded grip supplier for a new project.. my real question is, we know where later production grips all came from, where were the earliest ones made if not Mattel 😮 They also seem to have had the earliest toy model of the m16 ...makes too much sense to me.
