Separatists didn't fill their side of the bargain and thus must be punished, as such Ukraine has no oblgiation to respect Minsk agreements, since the separatists didn't. And? How that excuses Russia? Whataboutism is no argument.

@ Afraid it is. They didn't ask for permission to enter Ukraine. That makes it an invasion. No excuses are acceptable. And that's whitout mentioning they plotted against Ukraine in 2014 when they pulled the strings on Viktor to not sign the agreement and backed up the separatists.

@ Doesn't matter the reason. I know it's because of some Germans living in Poland and being presecuted, which isn't a valid reason to invade another country and dragging others into a war Europe didn't want. What Germany did was unforgivable. Any Germans living in Poland, would be Poland's responsibility, not Germany's. Same for Donbas being Ukraine's responsibility, not Russia's. And why both invasions are wrong.

@barbarella2691 More excuses? It doesn't matter if they were annexed from or not, that was no longer Germany territory for years. No excuses are acceptable. Invasion is always wrong, except if Poland had invaded Germany first instead of Germany. Only then would Germany be justified in invading Poland to retaliate. Makes no difference to me how barbaric they are or Germany paints them as. Invasion resulted in a war that would result in even more attrocities and death. That's unforgivable. If Germany didn't want a war, they should have left Poland be. Those people weren't worth a war that would affect most of Europe. And yet none of those documents justify Germany's actions. They attempted and failed, and started the war, thus they were to blame. Germany should have kept trying diplomacy and leave things run their course if it didn't work out.
