@lablackzed The Minsk agreement is worthless. Separatists didn't respect their side of the bargain. Why should Ukraine ceasefire, when separatists don't? Doesn't matter how many times he offered, he should have given up and just let Ukraine be.

@erone4731 Hardly, it's the truth. Russia did invade Ukraine. That makes it Russia's fault no matter what excuses they make. Doesn't matter how many times it warned. Whoever attacks first is to blame, with or whitout warning. Ukraine has the right to make their own decisions whitout Russia.

@gojobuddy You mean mostly right. As they should for their rebellion and starting a civil war. They shouldn't have asked, they should have surrendered to Ukraine. The Minsk agreement wasn't respected by separatists nor Russia, so no reason for Ukraine to do the same. The agreement is worthless. Wrong. The Minsk agreement doesn't say anything about NATO expansion "This agreement consisted of a package of measures, including a ceasefire, withdrawal of heavy weapons from the front line, release of prisoners of war, constitutional reform in Ukraine granting self-government to certain areas of Donbas and restoring control of the state border to the Ukrainian government. While fighting subsided following the agreement's signing, it never ended completely, and the agreement's provisions were never fully implemented. The former German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier suggested a mechanism of granting an autonomy to Eastern Donbas only after "the OSCE certified that the local elections had followed international standards, called the Steinmeier formula." So, those international standards weren't respected by the separatists. And let me remind you that the key word here is "autonomy" not "independence".
