@cooperyoung1928 They will die for a pointless cause that isnt' even theirs to fight.

If Russia hadn't invaded, there would be no problem.
2
@cooperyoung1928 Why Russia? He will be worse off. Send him somewhere else.
2
@cooperyoung1928 I disagree. Russia is the one who invaded, and thus the ones at fault. I would rather end Russia's government than our own. I don't want the "balls" to fight for a worthless cause. There's a fine line between courage and foolishness. If they didn't want to fight Ukraine, then they shouldn't invaded.
2
Well, there's always the option to not root for anyone, if you think both sides are wrong. I myself stand with Ukraine, however. I will always choose the defending side, no matter what.
2
@grdev3066 But no invasion took place. Meaning, Russia has no right. Not to mention that Crimea was stolen from Ukraine with a sham referendum.
1
@modulblok-e3168 10k separatists. 4k were civilians killed by both Ukranian forces and separatists in the crossfire. Not a problem worth invading another country and starting a conflict. I wouldn't start a war to save my life or family let alone strangers.
1
@modulblok-e3168 Says you. Reminder that Russia supervisoned it. A clearly not impartial party.
1
@grdev3066 Donbas people are part of Ukraine. They should have ignored them, as they started the civil war. Doesn't matter if they asked, they should go ignored. They aren't a nation, and thus no country has obligation to help them. Because they wanted to steal land from Ukraine. If their goal was to live as Russians, they should have moved to Russia. My comment shows that peace is more important than lives of some rebels.
1
@grdev3066 Yes, they are. They are rightfully Ukranian. Simple, obey Ukranian government, and cut their ties to Russia. If they can't do that, then move to Russia or another country. They never tried to negotiate and resorted to violence against the rest of Ukraine.
1
@modulblok-e3168 Russia supervising it says otherwise. It's a sham. Russia wasn't an impartial party.
1
@reaper666-kp8zm They are all fabricated by Russia and shouldn't be taken seriously. Doesn't matter if they were Russian polls or not. Russia could have easily manipulated results.
1
@modulblok-e3168 No, I live in the same reality as you. What you believe is your problem.
1
@grdev3066 Yes, really. The government has the right to ban anything from an hostile nation. If they did negotiate, it's clear that Donbas demands were unreasonable. Otherwise, they should be forced to leave or must tie their ties with Russia, which include speaking Ukranian instead of Russian. Though luck. They either do what I just said, or leave.
1
@modulblok-e3168 If that happens. Then sure, but Ukraine is rightfully their territory.
1
@modulblok-e3168 Why post at all, if it's in a language that I don't understand? Or aren't you man enough to say what you have to say to my face?
1
@nickl5658 Doesn't matter. That's history. Ukraine has been it's own country since 1991. Too late for Russia to claim otherwise. And now those Russian people must either learn to only speak Ukraine or leave. Russia is an hostile nation, and thus Ukraine has the right to drive them out of the land. Russia should have thought about that before backstabbing Ukraine. They brought this situation upon Donbas people by not cooperating with Ukraine. I will blame Russia for antagonizing Ukraine for stupid reasons. Once, against, there's no such as an ethnic cleansing. If there was, why only Donbas is targeted? There are many Russian speakers in the western side too. And Russia shouldn't have listened or should have helped Ukraine remove the people of Donbas. Causing conflict, no matter the reason is wrong.
1
@cooperyoung1928 No, that was Donbas doing. The one who started hostilities was from Donbas in the Maidan. Doesn't matter what Russia did or didn't. Ukraine has the right to build whatever they want whitin Ukranian territory. Also Ukraine has no nukes. They gave them away to Russia. There is no defense. Russia wasn't invaded. Doesn't matter. USA would have no right to invade Mexico, unless Mexico invaded USA.
1
@DEE-qu5mc I already did all the research on the matter for months from both sides. I already know why it happened. And nothing justifies Russia's invasion. Russia should never invaded no matter the reason.
1
@ramsesbeaulieu5503 Can't say I agree. The world should take priority over your family. I wouldn't sacrifice the world to save my own. That's the right thing to do.
1
@73elephants I'm fully aware of that. That too was Russia's fault. By instigating the separatists. The Euromaidan incident was started by an separatist pro-Russian. A coup that most Ukranians wished for. Then why didn't the president at time said nothing of the sort before leaving his position? Either way, they got what they deserved for selling their souls to Russia. There's nothing wrong with NATO expanding, since they aren't a country and have the permission of the countries that join it. That's Russia's narrative. There was no invasion of Russia, thus Russia was never at risk of being conquered. That makes no sense. Russia has nukes, there is no country that can conquer them even if they were to win. An illegal referendum. It was a sham supervised by Russia. And? How exactly what USA does wrong justify Russia's wrong doing?
1
@LOL_Lab11 None, that's what. Just like Russia.
1
Stop complying Yes there is. See the definition of the word war. "a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country."
1
@docsmallblock6584 Once again, check the definition of the word war. The scale of combat doesn't make it any less of a war. Then why does Russia doesn't do precisely that? It would end the conflict sooner. Or do they want to drag the war out?
1
@graecus33 No. I believe in my cause.
1
@lindaetheridge-stroud1502 Traitors to Ukraine will be treated well. Not so much for those that didn't want Russia. I disagree. Any faction that doesn't want to lick Putin's boots is the right faction for Ukraine.
1
@graecus33 Let it. My stance will remain the same no matter what others think.
1
And what Russia is doing against Ukraine isn't?
1
@nathanl2966 It's precisely because they didn't ignore it that the 2014 coup happened, remember? Most of Ukraine wanted that coup. And most of Ukraine rejects Donbas rebellion.
1
If I was in his shoes, I wouldn't, since I would blame Putin for the invasion.
1
So does Putin then.
1
And that evil is Putin.
1
But the Minsk agreement is worthless, and separatists didn't respect it.
1
What self-defense? Russia was the one who invaded.
1
That chatter could be false and fabricated.
