i had a government job here in the usa where we were all forced to clock out right at the moment that we were scheduled to be off work and then continue to finish up our work without being paid. they would practically fire people for breathing the wrong way and there was no smiling or laughing allowed.

denny beck i was surprised to see a government job be so blatant about violating labor laws.
1
denny beck i suspect that this is the direction that the work force is going. everybody is a easily replaceable cog in the machine and the workers know it and the bosses know it.

the american average is 100. what's the average for germans?

y2jeff2 would the german iq tests be in german? when i took an iq test, a significant portion of the test tested knowledge of the definitions of prefixes and suffixes how do they test germans on these sections.

SgtSixkilla some of it measures a persons knowledge of prefixes and suffixes and their definitions in order to know the answers. a person with a poor education who never learned these things is never going to be able to answer those questions.

AstheaTV we still go to college here in the usa. the last census taken said that 27.1% of people aged 25 or older had at least a bachelors degree (4 year). that trend could end soon because of the lack of middle income job growth and the high student loans. all many of these degrees seem worth is just the status of saying that you completed college.

wolfhead21 marilyn "von savant" had it. she used to write a column for parade magazine.

wolfhead21 i never heard of terence tao? what does he do for a living out of curiosity? i had always heard that von savant had a 230 iq. to be honest with you, i didn't think that iq tests tested for that high.

i once had a government job here in the usa where they would make us clock out right at the moment we were supposed to clock out and then finish our work. they also really frowned on smiling laughing and acting like you enjoyed your work.

DoctorPC pelailut i've watched swedish movies and to me the language sounds as close to english as any other language that i've heard. it sounded closer to modern english than old english. it seems like it would be an easy language to pick up if i had to learn the language to get by.

Mikael Murstam i was told that english was the hardest european language to learn. there are a lot of words with double meanings and words that sound the same but spelled differently and the pronunciations look like they are supposed to be pronounced one way but an exception to the rule means that it is pronounced another way. spanish is probably the easiest language to learn as far as reading for an english speaker but spanish speakers talk fast so that becomes a challenge.

ಠ_ృ forget about my last comment. tell him to meditate and become a buddhist then. just not the monk kind where they take a vow of celibacy.
