@kasey lea paul do you think these kids are overreacting at least and maybe going too far in calling this professor a racist and "demanding" that he be fired? all he did was say that he didn't think that the students should get a pass from attending class to go protest. even the protestors of the vietnam war all the way through until today never even thought about presenting something like that to any university staff nor thought they had a reason to complain about being marked as absent. they saw it is a minor sacrifice that they were making to go and protest. to me, these kids seem like the biggest spoiled brats that i've ever seen in my life.

@kasey lea paul so then a poor hillbilly from the south flying a NAZI flag from his trailer who says that he doesn't like black people and who would always refer to black people as the N word is actually not racist but instead prejudice? lol

@kassey lea paul anyone can be a racist. that new orwellian trick where they change the definition of the word doesn't fly with me and looks extremely suspicious. the smart thing to do is go with the old definition. there are still plenty of white racists out there, some of which have the power to hire and fire people and are in supervisor roles or possibly even higher up then that. why don't you focus your attention on that instead of a broad subjectively designed model based on talmudic belief system practices and suggesting that collectivized guilt should be felt by everyone of a particular group for happening to be born into that particular group and for no other reason?

@tspence antifa is the biggest threat to the progressive movement. that are far worse then annoying. btw they want t destroy the progressive movement because to them it is still just another movement and their ideological views of anarchy believe that ALL movements need to be destroyed. that is why they do what they do. they are purposely trying to tarnish the reputation of the progressive movement. go look into those assholes and read and talk to them and find out for yourself. :/

they seem like the biggest bunch of spoiled brats that i've ever seen. i hope in five or 10 years, these twisted NAZI brats wake up and figure out what they've done. :/ fascists like these kids were unheard of on either side of the spectrum when i went to college. it's time that the grownups picked off a switch and took these brats behind the woodshed.

@yiddy 1 lol read my last reply.

@haenry von frompf "we can't solve anything until we know who 'we' are.........." you just told me exactly what your problem is. there is no "we." you and your own personal identity isn't supposed to be based on a collective......you are supposed to learn to think like an individual and not just some drone bee buzzing around feeling good about being part of a bee colony for safety and security reasons. can you think beyond what the leaders in your pack tell you to think? learn t think for yourself and then maybe this whole thread will quit going over your head.

@g12002 too much collectivism leads to authoritarianism and kids like in this video. too much individualism leads to not being able to cooperate and work together with others. right now we have too much collectivism and if these kids are any kind of omen for the future.......we are in a lot of trouble from what will be too much collectivism. also notice how these kids can't even use basic reasoning and logic to defend their positions and seem to not care or think that it is even necessary.O.O

@david a i wish that the hierarchical way that people work things out in group projects was as easy as they do it in HS/youth league football. usually the players who aren't the QB or RBs are glad that they don't play those positions because they know that the choices for those positions are better there then they would be and the team has a better chance of winning and playing better with those choices over them.
2
@david a couldn't you say the same thing about the right wing too if you are going to say that about the left? it looks more to me about parents spoiling their kids and not teaching them what real human rights are about. every political/economic philosophy devolves into something. too much socialism leads to too much government interference to the point where things start to seem more like a bureaucratic dictatorship. too much capitalism devolves into a monoplistic plutocracy. focusing on identity politics and only that or at least putting too much focus on that leads to kids like these on the left and actual white supremacist racists on the right. it's really about how some people never learn about checks and balances and seeing one person put all of their eggs over in one basket and another person putting all of their eggs in another basket. then we can see both of them argue over the color of the sky with one saying it's red and another saying it's green.

@david a ok but would it be possible to have real capitalism work on a practical level without unscrupulous people figuring out ways of gaining leverage over others and taking advantage of that fact? could it lead to a mafioso type of local "governing?" as a matter of fact it seems like that would be a step towards plutocracy to me. in other words, the problem with "isms" is human nature.. people are too hierarchical and there are people out there who think life is all about being "the top dog" and those type of people seem to always try to have and take the upper hand on every person that they meet.
1
@david a ok. the right wing people that i talked to said that they didn't think that anything should be regulated. adam smith really never fully addressed his opinion on that one (he somewhat did) or at least was looking at it from an 18th century merchant's point of view. when i think of pure capitalism, i think of no government regulations of any kind for anything.

@alex suvorov so then all of us who think of ourselves as liberals, progressives and leftists but really hate this assault on free speech and what antifa does and stands for are only fooling ourselves and we are all actually conservatives and don't know it yet? lol
1
@delusionnnnn also the very stupid who can't see beyond their own noses.
1
@g120002 what about the right and their support of continually being f... in the a... by the neo conservatives? do you like being f...ed in the a..? is that it? the left gets these stupid kids and the right gets the wars and the death and destruction that they have always brought upon them just so the ones who started it can financially profit off of it. WAKE UP!
1
@henry von frompf that way of thinking is for people who never broke free from their upbringing and never broke free from their cult leaders. whoever wrote that never figured that one out. O.O
1
@david a individualism combined with the ego kept in check can lead to a group of individuals being able to work together well. if the egos aren't kept in check though then you will fighting and counter productive forms of competition within the group over who is right and how things should be done and who the "leader" should be. unfortunately, the larger the group, the more likely that there will be problems with what i described. also from what i've seen, that happens more often then not.
