The Navigator is getting refreshed for 2022 so this comparison would be interesting to see again between the 22 Navigator & the 21/22 Esaclade
122
In order for this to be a fairer comparison, it should really be with the GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige

I love this brown interior! It brightens up the interior a lot!
13
I thought that the CT5 was the midsize sedan & the CT4 was the compact sedan š§š¤Øš¤
10
The G80 3.8 V6 with the Ultimate Package & the G80 5.0 Ultimate both have the heated rear seats. The buttons for the heated rear seats are in the rear center armrest with the power sunshade button for the rear window
9
This car helped save Tiger Woods' life. That accident will hopefully work to benefit Genesis in terms of sales
9
I would go for a Sorento SX Prestige if it had a bench in the second row. I like the rust brown interior color show here & the vents look great to me imo. But because the SX Prestige is only available with captain's chairs that's why I'd go for the Santa Fe Calligraphy trim

The car originally came out in 2015 first before the new Sonata had come out later on in 2015 as well. So you can't really knock the interior because at the time, Hyundai pulled inspiration from the Genesis interior to make the Sonata a more upscale-looking model in the interior. This will change probably with the next generation G80 that will probably come out sometime in 2020 or 2021 if not sooner than that. I just hope that Genesis will improve the fuel efficiency of the G80 by adding a non-intrusive start/stop system that works really well, cylinder deactivation, & more efficient powertrain options. The next G80 interior will fall more in line with the current G90 & the upcoming G70

4:34 The ventilated front seats are part of the optional Sunroof package with the SX trim. This package also gives you a power tailgate, the sunroof, & the Digital Key 2 Touch all for $1,200 which is a great deal for these 4 features
8
Ā @paulm6481Ā You actually don't have to drive it to the dealership because they have a complimentary valet service. They bring a loaner to your location of choice, drive your car to the dealership, & return your car back to you at your location of choice & take the loaner back to the dealership. And Genesis is working on their own standalone dealership network anyways. So that eventually wouldn't be an issue
8
I love this color with these wheels! This Avalon is the sexiest Avalon yet minus the oversized grill which they should downsize a bit
7
Ā @johnkoz218Ā They donāt. They easily could with the 3.0L turbo-6 engine they put in the TLX since they most likely have the same platform
7
I've been thinking this too! I would love them to com out with a true 3-row option with a GV80 L or GV90 because they need a true 3-row full-size SUV that can actually carry adults in each row like the Navigator, GLS, Escalade, & Land Rover Discovery. This car would outsell those competitors like hotcakes!
7
This car needs the turbo 3.0L inline-6 Hurricane engine
6
That's the dealers doing that. That's not Kia doing that themselves
6
I love the wheels on this MKX! They were the best design wheels on the 16-18 MKX!
6
This exterior color with those wheels looks amazing!
6
They finally give you the option to get body color wheel arches on the 450
6
Ā @AAhmad3449Ā Those cars won't last as long as the Acura or Genesis would
5
Ā @gree9963Ā No they're not you salty troll. They actually make some great V6 & V8 engines š¤¦š½āāļøš
5
0:32 I actually liked the design of the previous generation model. In some ways it looked more elegant & classy while still being distinctive for the segment it competes with. Styling can be subjective though so I disagree with you Mark
4
The Cognac interior is much nicer than the Graphite gray in the Avalon. The gray is probably in between a gray & white interior. But the Cognac brown leather interior is a nice tan/ saddle brown interior that looks like it's from a luxury car brand interior
4
For the price theyāre charging for this, the second row should have ventilated second row seats like the Genesis GV80 & Lincoln Aviator & Navigator offer
4
Well the current RAV4 is actually still pretty competitive despite its age. It's still a nice CUV
3
Damn Clifford is buff šš
3
To get the same features in a luxury brand midsize CUV/ SUV it would be $10-40k more depending on the vehicle. So this is actually a bargain compared to most luxury midsize CUV/ SUVs. This has almost all of the tech & luxury features from a midsize luxury CUV/ SUV without that luxury brand premium pricetag you have to pay to get that size of vehicle from a luxury brand with the luxury features you want
3
0:53 This current design post facelift has been around since 2022 so it still looks & feels newer than 8 years even though this generation started in 2017
3
The base version of the GLE isn't really worth the $$. The Genesis GV80's base engine has more HP & torque standard & optional packages cost less to get it well-equipped or fully-loaded & it has a more distinctive interior
2
Hyundai has interesting interiors for the mainstream segment. Acura has stepped up their game with the RDX, 2021 TLX, and 2022 MDX.
2
The Overland & up trims have Nappa leather which is the same leather offered in Benzes & BMWs so there's n away the leather in the Jeep isn't as soft as it is in those vehicles
2
Ā @ScottXC91Ā Well the base CX-50 starts at $30,300 & the CX-90 starts at $39,595, so the 70 will probably start at $35-36k
2
The GT-Line offers a Sun + Sound package which includes the Harmon Kardon audio system. If it has the sunroof it had the Harmon/Kardon audio system on the GT-Line
2
I love that Sevilla Red Nappa leather with the diamond quilting! It looks amazing šš„š„µš¤©šš½
2
I would go for this Limited 2.0T trim bc of the fact that it has heated AND ventilated front seats, the panoramic sunroof, the Infinity audio system with Clari-Fi music restoration technology, & other features that make it feel more like a luxury CUV/ SUV. It's almost as nice as Genesis GV80 on a much more attainable budget. I mean the 2021-22 Santa Fe Calligraphy trim looks even more upscale & has more tech & features, that makes it feel even more like a Genesis GV80 but on a more attainable budget with a shorter front end, which makes it easier to drive in cities as well
2
I love that Dark Adriatic Blue color!
2
It doesn't really compete with these two vehicles. It competes more with a Subaru bc of the rugged exterior look with a more premium interior
2
Yeah you can get it with ventilated front seats. Itās the first model from the Alfa lineup to offer that
2
The pricing for this is a little bit too high for some of its interior finish choices & the safety tech omissions. The Equinox Premier or even the Tucson Limited with the Ultimate Package are much better crossovers
2
The 2.7L V6 is available on the Nautilus
2
The Avalon is getting discontinued though so that will probably result in an increase in ES sales
2
1:31 & 5:45 Where is the demo of the blind view monitor system? Is this the same Blind Spot View Monitor available in the 2021-22 Santa Fe that it got with the refresh? I know the Limited & Calligraphy trims have that on the refreshed Santa Fe
2
Well for the most part the update grill helped improved the front end of the MKC
2
Yeah that was a typo in the graphic lol
1
11:00 You said GV70 & showed a pic of the GV80. This competes with the GV80, not the GV70
1
2:20 They have an amazing dark navy Denim Blue & the trendy Thunder Grey which also looks amazing
1
6:03 You couldāve just pressed the AUTO button for it to automatically cool the seat or you couldāve just directly tapped the last rectangle for the cooled seat
1
That's basically the Sorento because the Sorento had the same engine from 2016-2020
1
I mean you could possibly remedy that by inserting some LED DRL bars in the bottom corners of the grill so it makes better use of the fake grill spaces lol
1
Yeah that was a 2014-15 SX Limited trim
1
The Sorento & Santa Fe are both midsize CUVs/ SUVs
1
Did that K&N air filter boost the HP & torque at all?
1
These wheels look sexy. They're the best wheels for this car
1
The SEL trim on the regular Tucson can be equipped with 2 optional packages to be as nice as the Tucson on the exterior & in the interior
1
It's funny I was comparing a Tucson Hybrid Limited to the Santa Fe Calligraphy trim as well lol
1
I wish they offered a 360Ā° camera with the refresh of the MKZ
1
Ā @RiskmanglerĀ Or a Genesis. Even the optional packages bundled in multiple features at a lower price than Mercedes-Benz, BMW, & Audi
1
Thank you! This is how I feel lol. I mean I like the GLA but the Corsair & Geneais GV70 are definitely more distinctive than the GLA
1
Ā @colechapman6976Ā It's not a copycat design. The guy who designed the Bentayga also designed the GV80
1
I agree with everything you said here!
1
Ā @turnneĀ It probably is for midsize CUVs/ SUVs, & the RDX is the best seller for compact premium luxury CUVs/ SUVs
1
Ā @steelydanfan100Ā It has 281 HP
1
The G80 has more value for the money with the base engine & optional engine
1
I agree with mot of what you said besides the red leather. I think it works well in this car & I also think that the black wheels don't look good on the F Sport model
1
Ok I can see the new center being an issue, but the buttons in the center stack on the Calligraphy trim look like they got a Genesis level of detail to them. The switchgear looks higher in quality & very elegant. It helps to make the Santa Fe feel like a luxury CUV/ SUV. Not that the controls are bad in this one, but they look even better in the 21-22 Santa Fe Calligraphy trim
1
I wish the top trim in the sedan & hatchback with the 2.5L turbo-4 of the Mazda3 & CX-30 offered ventilated front seats since they offer that as an option in the CX-5 & up in their lineup
1
Iām strongly considering the 2016-2020 Sorento SX or SXL/ Limited
1
This CX-5 is so beautiful Iām going to lease the Carbon Turbo or the Signature trim
