  1.  @tvp8501  The Southern US border is not insecure, but porous. The issue is not security of the border, because there is no-one and no country attempting to alter the location of the border, as is occurring in Ukraine. The question to be addressed is the degree of porosity, between totally open, O% restriction, to 100% restriction, implying "absolutely no flow". I do not believe that the Republicans calling for "border security", even know precisely what they want, or the level of restriction. I have seen absolutely no indication that those specific Republicans, such as Greene, Gaetz and even Johnson, have actually and clearly defined anything other than shouting "Border Security" with no clarity about their expectations.

  2.  @tvp8501  You have asserted that you and I agree, but I do not agree with that assertion. Support for Ukraine and the US Southern border are two sepate issues, with entirely different factors and entirely different outcomes for the US. Those two issues should be treated separately. The consequences for the US of Ukraine's defeat will far surpass the issues on the US Southern border.
