@Kyle-fd4vc So you know these supernatural things happened because of the bible? When you read the bible today you are reading edited versions, of translations of translations, of contradictory hear say, based on the falable eye witness accounts of iron age peasants, committed to text by unknown authors, hundreds of years after the supposed events of the bible even took place. The thousand odd year old scripture isn't even complete, the new testament is only made up of selected writings from the time, entire gospels like Enoch, Thomas and Judas have been disregarded from the bible completely. Then to finish off this inaccurate, incomplete, ancient work of aremeic whispers and gossip; its all finally interpreted out to the individual by a church that belongs to 1 of 30,000 different groups and denominations. The exact same bible can tell an Adventist to pray on Saturday, a Jehovah to not have blood transfusions and the Amish to ride horses and raise barns like the olden days. To base your world veiw on such a thing is completely irrational, that's why people need faith to follow religion, by definition faith is belief without any evidence.

It doesn't assert it says that we don't know, but it probably began in such a way. There is no arrogant claim of knowing unlike religions. Just a rational and empirical hypothesis.

@Kyle-fd4vc The original Bible only says the female followers of Jesus saw an empty tomb with some random guy in there saying Jesus rose from the dead. They never saw his risen body. All the other stuff was edited in later. Like Jesus saying "those without sin cast the 1st stone" and Jesus forgiving others being crucified with him. You don't have any empirical evidence, all you have is ancient eye witness testimonials. Eye witness testimonials are such terrible evidence that there sole use isn't even permitted in court. Christianity is a nonsense why would God brutaly sacrifice himself, to himself, in order to appease himself? God is supposed to be omnipotent, he could just simply forgive humanity because our ancestors ate an apple.

Muslims, Hindus and in the past Zoroastronists and Pagans were just, if not more confident than you are about your God. What makes you right? Logically your God doesn't even make sense. If God is supposed to be all knowing then why on earth would he test human beings to see if they are good and go to heaven or bad and go to hell? He knows everything, why would he need to test it, he already knows the answer.

@Kyle-fd4vc What are you talking about, have you even read the bible? Origin sin comes from Adam and Eve, Humanity is cast out from eden and from then all humans are indelibly marked with that sin. Jesus is sacrificed in atonement for it. Yeah that's the problem with the bible. Books are read subjectively, they are interpreted hence the thousands of denominations of Christianity. Its funny how your all knowing God understood 100% that the bible would confuse the readers so much that they would kill eachother over their perceived interpretations yet still decided a book was the best method of telling his word. Your God has the power to allow every human to know his world 100% with no confusion but he didn't do that... why would that be? Maybe Christianity is like all of the other thousands of religions, its fairytale nonsense. So you think God made us knowing 100% we'd be flawed and then punishes us for this flaw. That this unelected celestial dictator has the right to kill and torture us for acting in the flawed manner that he made us in. The lack of logic you have is astounding. Again that is not true according to many Christians. Catholics hold that babies are born with sin and need to be Christened to be absolved. I put to you what I did to the other guy. @Kyle-fd4vc Your mum being alive doesn't mean your God is responsible. People sometimes live against the odds it doesn't make it divine. What are we supposed to take from your conclusion that the Lord saved your mum, but didn't bother to save the dead kids on cancer wards? Circular nonsense. You know the bible isn't corrupted, why? Because God (who you learned about in the bible) is uncorruptable. You can't use the thing you're trying to prove to prove itself.

@jesusislord748 That doesn't answer my critism. God already knows how humans will use their "free will" (honestly I don't know how free will survives an all powerful being). Your God knows which humans will use their free will to believe in him and go to heaven.. so why not just make those humans and call it a day? What about other religious people and athiests who demonstrate power, love and self discipline - where does that come from when they do not believe in Christianity? Lol So who are the true Christians Greek Orthodox? You make these claims based on your interpretation. But who are you to say that the Mormons or Quakers aren't the true Christians. It just backs up my point that your God made a needlessly confusing method of delivering his word. Why would a perfect all knowing being do that? That's disanalogous. Working your way up to a top job is just a common part of our reality. Skills have to be learned over time, as the Germans say "practice makes the master". Whearas God being all powerful can just give Heaven to those who innately deserve it with no grind needed. If you don't think your God can do that then you are denying his omnipotence. Right so you think an all perfect being who could make a heaven where everything is perfect - will be sour unless people live on earth and experience suffering first. Again this goes against God's omnipotence. It is also unbelievably immoral. You think God creates human beings knowing that they'll use their free will to burn in hell, just to make the already perfect reality of heaven somehow sweeter? God already knows with 100% accuracy who the Holy, vurtious, heaven bound people are what use would creating earth serve when these people are 100% going to overcome sin, its a pointless exercise that results in other humans burning for eternity. Consider the fact that your God made the universe knowing 100% the outcome of absolutely everything. He could have made a number if universes like... Universe 1: Where all humans use their free will to sin and everyone burns in hell. Universe 2: Where only some humans use their free will to sin, and some humans go to heaven. Universe 3: Where all humans live holy virtuous lives and everyone goes to heaven. Why would an all good and perfect God choose to make humans who will inevitably betray his word and suffer infinitely? Adam and Eve were set up to fail. God knew 100% that if he put the forbidden fruit there that they would eat it. Yet he put it there anyway. God is somehow upset with Adam and Eve for doing exactly what God knew they would do before he even made them, God knew it was not within their power to forgo the exercise of freedom, yet he suffers them for doing what he inevitably set in motion. It's a paradoxical mess.

So why are you claiming it proves your specific believe in a God? Why not Hindu Gods or Aboriginal Gods or a Deist God or that we are all in a simulation with the physics outside that prove infinity? @7rays7 Again the video makes no claim to know the beginning. Whoever runs the BBC's social media wrote the title. The clip is from the series "Universe". Again my points are that science makes claims where it has robust evidence, otherwise it makes rational hypothesise and won't call it fact until robust empirical ecidence is found. Evolution demonstrates how the diversity of life came to be (something that religion failed at colossally). So far the origin of life is still in the realm of hypothesis but science is working on it. Religious people jump to a magic being who made everything and has a rule that you must follow, its ridiculous. An absurd hypothesis that survives through the God of the gaps fallacy.
