As far as military equipment goes A few years back an International oil company started out with 200,000 goats. By the time an long trail of bartering was finished, they imported to an African country 15 armoured enginnering tractors. After using these on projects for three months they were 'Gifted' to the local goverment.

@ireallyshouldntbehereltd7814 Well my ancestory is Welsh, but I was born in the Norman bit that still belongs to the Monarch. So I have no chance! :-)

@ireallyshouldntbehereltd7814 As the Channel Islands were part of the Duchy of Normandy prior to 1066, and the Monarch still holds the title Duc De Normandie as the senior title , we own the England : One of our well known families , the De Cartret's was responsible for naming New Jersey, so we claim ownership of them as well :-) Keep safe.

@ireallyshouldntbehereltd7814 Don'tdo that . Being from Jersey the only time I can be conscripted is to free the Monarch or to assist the Monarch to regain the throne. There are a lot of old historic odditys for the Channel Island's dating back to 1204 . When the English crown gave up Normandy, the Islands were asked did they revert to French rule or stay with the Duc. Sod being French!
