  1. Additives don't wear out on modern syn oils,that are rated to go 10,000 miles between changes. This extra kludge filter setup is just a waste of time energy money. Everybody knows more than the oil makers, the vehicle makers....funny. the companies that sell these useless add ons love to sell nonsense to the gullible
