Olena Sherrell Where are they going to get the masks from? There is practically zero stock. Any stock coming in is all imported. And guess where all the imported masks are going to? China. HK is less than 1% of Chinas population. Of course theres not going to be much stock. Let alone have the luxury to give out masks for free. I mean if lucrative businesses cant even get their hands on a lot of stock, what makes you think the government can get even more? Think harder my friend

@kaeyaseyepatch2363 Although masks and hand sanitiser are not absolutely protection, they decrease ones chance in getting infected by the virus. That itself falls under the definition of "protection". Also, hand sanitisers contain alcohol. Alcohol kills viruses...

@FamilyBrown88 Rest of the world doesnt have mask shortages? Have you been living under a rock? US, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, even Japan etc all have shortages. And even if they do have supplies, its a business to business transaction where they may have hundreds or thousands in stock. No country has millions in stock. Dont tell me its "easy" to import millions of masks.

Google "US surgical mask shortage", "Australia surgical mask shortage", "Japan surgical mask shortage" etc. And tell me that these no mask shortages again. "The were plenty masks everywhere outside of China" Tell me, which country has millions of masks for sale outside of China that doesnt currently has stock for places other than China?
