@linjunshao5409 "even a Tesla Car is 1/3 cheaper in China" What are you talking about? The cheapest Tesla Model 3 in China is 235,900 yuan ($36,500 USD). In the USD its $39,990 USD. What 1/3 are you talking about?

@martynzl "no its not. Its 4 times longer than Sydney which is very high" 4 times longer than Sydney? That means 5 years to own a Home in Sydney? Where you getting your fake info from? House prices in Sydney are about $1mil. Average salary is about $70k. After taxes and expenses, how much you think is left?

@bigmike1850 So what you suggesting? All Chinese migrate to countries like the US and yours?

@sammylee9402 ALL Australian cars are expensive due to their physical isolation from the rest of the world and low population (no buying power). If youre going to compare, compare apples with apples. Compare cars in China with cars in Europe or USA. Also, Im not sure what youre trying to point out in the rest of your comment? Youre proving my point that it doesnt take 5 years to own a home in Aus?

@sammylee9402 "It used to be 7 years family income to own a house in Australia" Like 50 years ago... "and then turn into 10 years now" 10 years? Youre assuming people dont pay taxes and dont have expenses? Its atleast 30 years for the average person - depending on where they live.

@sammylee9402 Im curious. What report says it takes 10 years to buy a house in Australia?

@sammylee9402 Not sure where youre getting your data from, but according to the ATO (Australias Taxation Office) its $65-70k. Moreover, youre talking about a household buying a home. We are talking about income of ONE person buying a home. And youre talking about and "entry level" house, whereas we are talking about an average house. Compare apple with apples. Otherwise you wont get a fair comparison.

@sammylee9402 Im taking the numbers DIRECTLY from Australias official records. One from Australias Taxation Office (ATO), another from Australias Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Their numbers show around $50k (2019) and $50k (2018) respectively for Australias median income. Numbers are probably a little higher in 2021. ATO looks at median taxable income, whereas ABS looks at median income. Why bother getting info from the "media" when you can get official data from the Australian government is my question to you? Why do you trust the media more than the official data?
