  1. Robert A Republic of China is already a separate state to Peoples Republic of China. Just that "Taiwan" isnt.

  2.  @RobertAmer  Its precisely that I DO have understanding on this topic that I said what I said. Only people that dont have my level of understanding THINK I have no understanding. Republic of China is a sovereign state - the sovereign state that succeeded Qing Dynasty. That is why they can govern themselves.

  3.  @Mar-ec7et  Not sure what youre trying to say here, but every advanced economy needs Taiwan at the moment for their chips. So they wont be isolating Taiwan any time soon. Moreover, the West and Japan wants to back Taiwan. So how will they be a "pariah province"?
