@kiwi36O Every country in this world can exercise their own military drills within their own borders. Doing it halfway across the world is another story... What youre doing is like blaming another country of having a military... What do you want? A military that doesnt have the right to practise? You expect them to be sitting ducks or something?

@jaelee1996 Just a reminder. South Korean NEVER signed the peace treaty to end the Korean war. Whereas China, US, and NK did. So from NKs point of view, the war is still ongoing, just a ceasefire. So going by that, they have every right to "practice" any drills deemed necessary. You honestly that naive the US never stimulate scenarios to invade other countries? Many countries do it. Why can the US do it but NK cant? Why the double standards?

@jaelee1996 Oh? Do you also attend meetings with your generals and know what theyre discussing? Youd be naive to think that the US never simulated any military invasions of Russia or China etc. Simulations can come in many forms. Not just those that you know of.

@jaelee1996 Lol did you really just say that? You expect all soldiers to "understand" what they are doing before taking action? Soldiers are to follow orders, even if they dont know whats going on. Whats military discipline for if all soldiers asks "why are we doing" this "why are we doing that" before taking action? That could even be considered insubordination if one wants to get down to it. And even if an answer is given or is told whats going on, its going to be a "convenient" answer to keep morals high and have soldiers do their bidding, not the "true" answer. Just like how the US lied to its citizens, soldiers, and the world how Iraq had WMD to justify their invasion. Everyone "understood" that. And soldiers believed they knew what they were doing. But is it the truth? Did they "really" know? As I said, naive. If you truly understood then you wouldnt even be framing your views in such a manner. The US simulation invasions. Period. Dont even try denying or sugar coating it. And dont have double standards when others do it too.

@jaelee1996 Its seems like you dont understand what I just said, either that or youre conveniently ignoring my main point. You can talk about this "why" as much as you like, but if your superiors hide the "true why" and gave you a "false why", youre still going to believe you know and understand whats going on when in fact you dont. Like the invasion of Iraq for example. The "why" given was that Iraq had WMD and were going to atk the US. Therefore, soldiers had a high sense of purpose in "defending" their country. But little do they know that that was a lie. Iraq had no WMD, and the US knows it. Imagine if they said the truth "we gotta secure the oil and stop Iraq from stop using the US dollar, and we need you soldiers to invade them and do it for our country". How many soldiers would not follow commands and be convicted of insubordination if they knew the truth? With soldiers dismissed every now and there, how high would moral fare in getting the job done? A convenient lie is what is told throughout the military. So they can get the job done! And its not just the US that does that. So dont go say how soldiers "understand" whats going on. They dont! Theyre fed a false understanding. Not 100% of the times ofcourse.
