@SaviorCydelor TW isnt a "country". TW is part of Republic of CHINA (ROC), and ROC claims to be the country called CHINA. Its in their name.

@Hkchinese888 Not according to their very constitution. According to their constitution, TW is a province of China. Not a "country".

@Hkchinese888 Think you missed what I said. Here, let me say it again: Not according to their very constitution. According to their constitution, TW is a province of China. Not a "country". Moreover, the "country" that Republic of CHINA claims to be is the country called CHINA, not "TW".

@Hkchinese888 And yet you keep making the same error. Correcting facts is what I do. If you dont like to be corrected, then you dont have to respond. Its for other readers to know that youre wrong. TW =/= ROC. Republic of CHINA claims to be the country called "China", so stop calling the name of the country "TW". TW is a province of China. Its enshrined in their very constitution. You cant argue with that even if you try really hard. A province is not a "country" no matter how hard you try make it one. China is split between 2 powers, PRChina and ROChina. Its officially an unfinished civil war with no peace treaty nor armistice ever signed. Civil war meaning war within the SAME country, China. So TW isnt a "country". Theyre a province of China as specifically stated in their very own constitution. These are the facts.

@Hkchinese888 Wrong. As stated above, the country that "TW" claims to be is the country called China. In fact, TWs government, ROChina once sat in the UN representing the country called "China". Go figure what country theyre called.

@cggjkk Chinese dont invest in Japan. Japans economy has been stagnant for many years now. Just look at the list of countries for Japans FDI (Foreign Direct Investments). China isnt even in there.

@d8vids 300 years to #1 vs 4000 years to #2. That says a lot already.

@d8vids "China" wasnt a "country" then. It was another Kingdom. If you want to use "civilisation" as the basis, then you must also apply the same "civilisation" basis on the US, that is, Europe. Theyve been around for more than just 400 years too.

@d8vids Is Qing not a country? Is Ming not a country? Is Yuan not a country? Thats not "my" argument when using civilisation as the baseline comparison. Thats the argument that the Chinese commonly use. China, or PRC, as a country is only 75yrs old, not 4000 years old. If you want to use the "4000 year old" argument, then of course you must compare apple with apples and include the British when you speak about the US. Otherwise, China is only 75 years old.
