  1. Asha ji means well. So does, one imagines, Tellis ji. One imagines too that both have inherited a noblesse oblige attitude toward Bharat - they certainly display one, in a well meaning way. Before dismissing the brilliant Shri Jaishankar with a wave of the hand, one should ask specific questions to these people about what Bharat should have done about vaccines, or, whether we should have purchased the oil, and what was the offer from America on both occasions? There are more questions one could ask, but these come to mind immediately. As they say, sweeping details under the carpet is fine for dabblers, but serious thinkers worry about the details.
