Such thoughtful public conversations on topics other than political cricket are still rare in India and it will take some time for the mechanics of the interaction to mature. We would like more conversations in many more topics - language, art, architecture, education, theater, dance, cinema, science, life in India’s villages - the watchword being conversations.

  2. It was somewhat odd and perhaps even surreal to hear both of them refer to 'the Indians'. May I suggest 'we', or if that feels too intimate, 'India'.
